Music By Idiots, a Danish band led by underground veteran artist Anders Rex, delivers a grandiose and almost elegiac single with Gospel of Querelle. Inspired by Fassbinder’s film “Querelle,” the track is a highly experimental post-rock piece reminiscent of 70s art rock influences like The Moody Blues on Psilocybin mushrooms. With an expansive sound and gradual progression, the song captures a dramatic and intuitive essence, recorded using only vocal, drums, and a mindblowing organ. Much like their compatriot directors of the Dogma 95 movement, the band showcases their own form of artistic expression.
