Born in South Carolina and now based in Barcelona, Americana singer-songwriter Mary Mahaffey recently released the first single off of her debut album, Daydreams. a luscious, upbeat country-americana song featuring her delicate vocals, eclectic melodies and a rich arrangement, including a variety of instruments, including the Hammond organ, pedal steel guitar, violin, and double bass. According to Mahaffey, it was written during the pandemic, and captures the essence of longing for home and family.
