Baltimore’s own Mallow Hill recently dropped their debut track, Thinkin’ Bout My Baby, and it’s a killer vintage-flavored blues Americana jam with electrifying female vocals. Grammy-nominated Dex Green (Elvis Costello, Margo Price, Nicole Atkins, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Shemekia Copeland) helmed the production, with engineering wizard Joe Costa (Ben Folds, Caitlin Rose, Amanda Palmer) behind the boards. The song rips with some of Nashville’s finest session players: Jack Lawrence shredding on bass (The Raconteurs, Dead Weather, Jack White), Meg Coleman slamming the drums (Alison Russell, Brandi Carlisle, Jenny Lewis), and Ray Jacildo rocking keys, synth, and mellotron (The Black Keys, Marcus King, Yola).

Turn it up and let it rip!

’Thinkin’ Bout My Baby’ is about recognizing my own bad habits and patterns that were learned through toxic relationships and an unhealthy lifestyle and trying to heal, grow, and learn from them,” says Mikayla Joseph
