While listening the most recent synth-saoked song by the London-based synth-pop band Magnetic Skies, was instantly transported to Sheffield, around late 70s-early 80s, and the stunning new wave/synth-pop sound of The Human League, but I had to pe patient enough until its euphoric chorus, that was when the melodic sensititvy of superb A Flock of Seagulls stroke. Yup, this sublime song could very well be the bastard child between Sheffield behemoths’ Seconds and Liverpool boys’ The More You Live, The More You Love!
