The latest single, Cast No Shadow, by UK-based songwriter and producer Sasha Papadin, who goes by the name Loverman, is a remarkable blend of post punk and dark rock. This excellent track is reminiscent of Joy Division, In The Night-era Stranglers and The Walkmen and its strength lies in its exceptional vocal delivery, driving bassline, effortless melody, and genuine balance between the dark and dreamy.
According to Papadin this ear-candy, was inspired by David Lynch’s noir film “Lost Highway” and poetically blends themes of mortality and romance.
