Austin based artist Lauren Lakis‘ latest release is the fascinating single and video TAKE MY HAND, an imposing amalgam of dark rock with shoegaze filtered with an eclectic alt pop sensitivity. According to Lakis the song is about “forgetting what you thought you knew, letting go, bravely opening your mind to something radically different“, and the accompanyng, impressive video was shot in Rapid City, South Dakota & Badlands National Park.
