Against a backdrop of cold and smooth guitars, intertwined with samples echoing a golden era in hip-hop, Larry Coleman 2020 pays homage to Gang Starr’s iconic SKILLZ from the 1990s. The remake not only nods to the lyrical prowess of Guru but features gifted MCs from DOTWAV – Creed Chameleon and Kennfrancis.
A more than ideal hommage to the lyrical skillset that no longer is.
