Atlanta-based contemporary r&b and Pop artist, singer-songwriter and producer, JOIE GREY, recently gifted us with All That Muscle, a transcendent blend of contemporary r&b, neo soul filtered with pop snsnitivity. The vulnerable vocals, the excellent production and super fresh sound, the highly addictive chorus, the poignant lyrics about “the people who get to be powerful, successful, make a bunch of money and leave behind the people who were there when they started” but most importantly the ideal balance within vocal expression and song-writing/structure, are this ear-candy’s main virtues.
