Jakk Da Rhymer, straight outta Brooklyn, New York, brings raw energy to the hip-hop scene. Introduced to music through cyphers and underground venues across the city, Jakk’s collaboration with music producer Hafafuk birthed Young Squalor. Initially overlooked, the beat sparked instant inspiration when Jakk heard it from Hafafuk’s old hard drives. With just one take and an overdub vocal, the track was born in a mere 20 minutes, fueled by creative energy and a few drinks. The accompanying video, shot in just two hours around center city Philadelphia, captures the essence of the song’s gritty vibe. With 21 tracks recorded since August 2023, Jakk and Hafafuk are gearing up to release new music while considering a demo release of their older tracks.
