Composer, Writer, Lyricist, Guitarist and former professional skier Gary Dranow joins forces with The Manic Emotions to release their recent single JANE. The band consists of members ranging from Utah, to Melbourne and various cities of Ukraine, each bringing their own personal color to this beautifully crafted melody.
JANE is a very special song. Gary Dranow slips away from his conventional blues-rock path and engulfs various styles and rhythms to create a classic –yet fresh- metal dynamite. The acoustic intro drags you down to depths of melancholy. Low, emotional vocals with a pinch of growl, every word feels like a bite on the soul. A minute later and the first riffs come to kick you in the face. After all, light comes after darkness. The tempo doubles and so does my enthusiasm for what I’ve experienced. For the finale, a brief but scorching guitar solo makes sure that this song will resonate in you after it has faded out.
