London’s eccentric art rock provocateurs Gag Salon unleash Backing Track, a deliciously chaotic slice of twisted pop from their upcoming debut album You Have Been Killed (out August 19 via Mr Speed Records). Blending twitchy guitars, infectious choruses, and an almost theatrical sense of paranoia, the band dances gleefully on the edge of disarray. Produced by Chris McCrory and recorded in a frigid Glasgow winter, the result is manic, melodic, and unmistakably Gag Salon.
