False Hope for the Savage, a Welsh instrumental post-rock collaboration featuring members of Samoans, Cut Ribbons, and The Echo and the Always, has recently unveiled their eponymous debut album. Motherless Brooklyn, an 8-minute opus, serves as the opening track for the vinyl B-side. It begins in a highly atmospheric manner, gradually evolving into a melodic post-rock inferno after the 5.30-minute mark.

Drawing inspiration from the triumphs of bands like Sigur Rós, And So I Watch You From Afar, and Mogwai, this quintet showcases their prowess with this epic anthem, adding their unique touch to the post-rock genre.
