Naturally, we shouldn’t have high expectations of a 14-year-old electronic producer to be highly accomplished. We shouldn’t anticipate top-notch production quality, sophisticated structure, or seamless progression from them. However, when it comes to the talented young Austrian artist F.L.O.O.D and his first Spotify release (additional tracks on SoundCloud below), his inherent talent shines through. Eternal showcases a vibrant blend of aggressive, brooding, and captivating, dark-acid techno, enriched with captivating arpeggios and exceptionally solid beats. It’s worth mentioning, as stated in his biography, that F.L.O.O.D “at the age of 7 he had his first contact with a DAW. Since then he kept producing. At the age of 11 he won a talent contest with his outstanding track Omega.”
