Electric Powered Soul, a dynamic NYC duo consisting of legendary producer/songwriter/musician V. Jeffrey Smith and drummer/programmer Howard Alper, recently unleashed their second album, Elephant In The Room. Among its representative tracks, This Windy Road stands out as a creation born from a free-form jam session. Producers Kee Chung and Howard Alper skillfully arranged the various performances to craft a cohesive song, while spoken word artist Brad Walrond then added his inspired piece to the music. The result is an art rock-infused jazztronica, an intense sound collage with funky grooves reminiscent of Primus, meshed with the eclectic spirit of The Comet Is Coming.
