UK artist David Curington is making a comeback with 2-BIT, on the Hard Return label. This release is distinctly lo-fi, created by heavily bitcrushing sine tones and pushing the stock metronome sound in Logic to its limits. The result is a sound that could be likened to a collaboration between Boys Noize and Yes (!), Indeed, played back by an 80s PC with insufficient RAM, creating an instant “Load Error!” BIT-1 promises a unique and experimental sonic experience, pushing the boundaries of traditional electronic music.
This is gonna be a wild, 15-minute ride!
