CS Hellmann, the Nashville-based songwriter and guitar virtuoso, delivers an indie banger with The Fear I Felt. A coming-of-age tale depicting his evolution into a seasoned artist in his mid-20s. The song’s allure lies in its captivating vocals, anthemic charm, and addictive driving pace. The guitar work shines brilliantly, invoking shades of The Killers and The National. With a catchy essence reminiscent of the bastions of rock, The Fear I Felt is a cathartic voyage, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in the musical brilliance of this rising star.

“I was very self conscious about singing in public and sharing the songs I had written. In my early development I had friends and my dad tell me that I wasn’t good enough to do it. My dad said that we didn’t have the genes to be songwriters and musicians. I wanted to prove them all wrong that I was capable of doing it if I worked really hard at it. I found a few friends that were very supportive of my musical journey and wanted to be a part of it. It was a huge confidence booster and gave me the confidence to record and release music of my own.” CS Hellmann
