Cell’s new single (indeed a great and unexpected new for every grunge-head), Free People, delivers a compelling mix of bluesy alt-rock and modern flair. The track features gritty guitar riffs, soulful vocals, and a powerful rhythm that underscores its themes of freedom and self-discovery. The accompanying video visually enhances the song’s raw, emotional energy.

Originally formed in New York in 1990, Cell released two full-length LPs and several singles and EPs on the DGC subsidiary of Geffen Records, as well as a single on the Ecstatic Peace label. Catch them live at DromFest in the Catskills from August 30 to September 1 and at The Mercury Lounge on September 3. These are their only shows planned for the near future, making them essential for fans of their emotion-filled grunge rock sound!
