Indie pop singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Bryony Williams shares her new single The Party, the latest track from her upcoming debut album, You Are Here – Part 1, set to release on June 13. Fans of Marika Hackman, Courtney Barnett, and The Big Moon will appreciate the Americana-tinged sound that highlights Bryony’s exceptional songwriting and storytelling abilities. The Party serves as a metaphor for life, reflecting Bryony’s frustrations with the repetitive narratives that each generation seems to follow. This introspective track, penned by a self-confessed free spirit, showcases Bryony’s lyrical depth and distinctive musical style, offering a fresh perspective on the universal human experience.

She says, “I get almost paralysed by this concept. The song documents my internal push and pull of living conventionally and/or living my truth, which isn’t to get a mortgage, isn’t to start a family, isn’t to work until retirement/death, but to instead “escape the day-to-day and start living”.
