Norwegian musician Bo Milli, at just 21 years old, offers a tantalizing preview of an upcoming EP with Come After Me. This track seamlessly melds lush, textured dream pop elements with the dynamic energy of indie rock. Co-produced by Odd Martin (known for his work with Sigrid and Sløtface) and co-written with Henrik Michelsen (renowned for collaborations with Maisie Peters and Little Mix), Come After Me is an emotionally charged anthem, drawing inspiration from the frigid, atmospheric nightlife of Bergen. Bo Milli’s musical fusion promises an EP that’s as captivating as it is emotionally resonant, making this track a promising glimpse into the artist’s evolving sound.
Speaking on “Come After Me”, Bo Milli said: “I’m fantasising about a big romantic gesture from someone I’m worried might not be that interested. I’m walking home from a party they’re still at, overthinking the whole night and feeling that if they come after me, that’ll somehow prove we’re on the same page. Although I haven’t told them how I feel, I hope they’ll know to leave the party and run after me like in the movies.“
