Beans, the eclectic experimentalist and former Anti Pop Consortium member, is gearing up to release his long-awaited album ZWAARD on March 15th via Tygr Rawwk Rcrds. Teaming up with Finnish producer Sasu Ripatti, also known as Vladislav Delay and Luomo, the duo promises a captivating sonic experience that defies conventions. ZWAARD, named after the Dutch term for a heavy bladed weapon, marks Beans’ return after six years of silence since his last album. Ripatti, renowned for his minimalist dub electronics, perfectly complements Beans’ abstract rap style.
