Actual Music is the anti-conformist, avant-jazz duo comprised by Dave Pavkovic and Tatsu Aoki, and Gravitational is their firts recording in almost eighteen years. This uncompromising, improvisational jazz “expedition” explores the boundaries of avant-garde, and its dadaistic approach of “deconstruct-to-contruct” genuinely combines drums with a mighty upright bass, to unleash an absolutely unique atmosphere, vibe and sound as a whole. A masterpiece released in 2023, that could have been straight from the mid 80s post-jazz/no wave era.
