Based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Lavier is a multifaceted bass music producer, and Murkury is a dynamic bass producer as well. Together they created ‘Worlds Collide’ a 3-track EP set to shake up worlds. A collaboration a long time in the making, Lavier and Murkury had first met in the mountains of North Carolina and have previously played shows together, ‘Worlds Collide’ marks their first proper outpouring of cooperative creativity.

The EP features tracks ‘Final Approach’, the eponymous ‘Worlds Collide’, and a ‘Worlds Collide’ remix featuring fellow Carolinian producer Criso’s talents. ‘Worlds Collide’ is pulsating and hypnotic, a beat to lose yourself in unexpectedly. It’s steady yet quirky, a playful concoction of sonics. The ‘Worlds Collide (Criso remix)’ is heavier, every second hitting harder, making the original ‘Worlds Collide’ seem a bit tame by comparison, but the remix isn’t quite as hypnotizing as the former. So what will you choose to play on your speakers? Wilder and more substantial or mesmerizing and sedulous? The correct answer is both! ‘Final Approach’ has mysterious vibes and is wholly invigorating, with a build that’s out of this world.

Both Lavier and Murkury have tour dates lined up across America, so be sure to peruse those over if you’re an American reader and of course, give ‘Worlds Collide’ your full attention.
