About Kontravoid

Canadian Cameron Findlay started his musical activity as a founder of Paralleles while for years he was the drummer of Crystal Castles. In 2012, he released his debut album with Kontravoid and was immediately considered one of the cornerstones of the modern dark wave edifice. The EBM / industrial and new wave influences with the eerie vocals proved to be the ideal combination in an always restless scene that was looking for the next step.

Now based in Los Angeles, and with albums like 2019’s Too Deep and 2021’s Faceless, Kontravoid continue to perfect the dark pop they serve, with EBM, Electro and Goth overtones and a clear danceable mood driving their songs. in the most abandoned corners of the foggy clubs of Europe and America.

On stage, Cameron Findlay demands the audience’s attention with his powerful performance, commanding and theatrical presence and the best dark dance music you can hear today.

On Saturday, January 28th, Kontravoid will be visiting Greece for the first time to go up – with their favorite masks that are the necessary accessory of their performances – on the Death Disco stage.
