The independent record label from Indianapolis, Indiana shared the second compilation of Christmas songs as they were covered and performed from bands hosted by the indie rock and noise record label. The release is a group of covered traditional, modern Christmas pop songs and original songs for those who hate Christmas music in its usual form and don’t know what to listen during the Christmas holidays (and why not, post X-mas holidays’s period) just to get in the Christmas holiday and winter solstice mood. The ten Christmas songs were recorded in the second annual Joyful Noise Recordings‘ holiday party. And The limited 100 copies release, are on hand-made snowflake shaped lathe cut 7” records.
For example the instrumentalist and songwriter Kishi Bashi managed to give a great chamber pop version of the successful pop but a little too conventional for the indie ears song of the 90’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You‘ of Mariah Carey. So, in case you missed this one…
