Alt-metal band Tool is arriving possibly to a city near you this summer. After giving fans a heads up to Monday’s (March 13) announcement, Tool have come forth with a 10-date tour schedule. Two of their gigs have been previously announced: Boston Calling on May 28th and the Governer’s Ball in NYC on June 4th, the latter of which they’ll be headlining. Tool’s last album, ‘10,000 Days‘, was released over a decade ago in 2006, we’ve since seen a sprinkling of gigs last year but no new music quite yet. The band revealed: “We are very excited to announce that Tool will be bringing their unparalleled sonic and visual experience to a select number of cities in May and June 2017.” Along with stating that there will be pre-sale VIP packages for “ToolArmy” members-membership purchase/signup is available via the Tool webstore.
Fans have also been encouraged to keep checking back with Tool’s site and socials for additional shows. Perhaps some dates in Europe? Pre-sale goes on sale Wednesday, March 15th at 10am PST, only for ToolArmy members, whilst the regular tickets on-sale date is Friday, March 17th at 10am local time except for the Chicago show which will go on-sale 11am local time.
