Messier 13 started as a dream-pop-noisegaze project in Athens in 2020. As a quintet, they released their first demo of three tracks the same year, presenting a blend of ethereal female vocals with noisy and chaotic guitars (https://messier13.bandcamp.com/album/demo). Following various experiments and lineup changes, the band released the ‘Harm‘ EP in January 2023 (https://messier13.bandcamp.com/album/harm) as a quartet. Their musical direction now leans towards the contemporary American shoegaze sound, with influences of grunge and slowcore. The debut album ‘Stay for a While‘ is in their hands, with ‘Apartment‘ being the first single. “Stay for a While” is expected to be released in 2024.
