Brief bio as a DJ

For over 15 years, I’ve been collaborating with various clubs and venues, playing usually Metal or Gothic/Industrial music. Occasionally, you’ll also find me writing articles for music magazines or webzines, as well as organizing concerts.

Which is your favourite venue?

Without a doubt, Second Skin. Unfortunately, it is no longer open.

Please name 3 Dj’s that have inspired you most…

I was more inspired by the vibe I experience in clubs and aimed to convey that feeling to others, rather than specific DJs.

-Choose only one option of the following-

Vinyl or Cd?

I prefer CDs, but I also enjoy vinyl.

Sunrise or sunset?

Definitely sunrise. That calming feeling after a wild night is unbeatable…

Urban or rural?

I’m a natural-born urban person.

Hardware or PC set?

PC set. It’s a big relief that I no longer have to carry bags or burn CDs before a set…

Cinema or theatre?

I’ve been involved with both, so there’s no way I could choose one.

Black or white?

As Blackie Lawless would say, Black Forever.

Goa or psy?

To be honest, although I enjoyed these two genres when I was young, I’m not into either of them anymore…

Chicago house or Detroit techno?

Detroit Techno. I’m not a big fan of House, although I can see the association between the two.

Body or mind?

Body. You can’t dress a mind with a corset…

Scuba-diving or mountain climbing?

Mountain climbing for sure. I love being in the mountains and can’t stand the sea, especially on hot days.

Tell us which do you consider your best trick in relation to DJ skills?

I see myself as the Venom of DJing. I may not have the best technique, but I know how to get people rolling…

Now we would like a 5-track set for our readers

Which is your favourite food & drink?

Grilled pork and whiskey.

Where can your fans find you…

On December 9th, we have a charity event at the Arch venue, organized by ElektroSpank. Be(er) there!

Name your wishful Back 2 Back

I would love to share the decks with George Fakinos, as we haven’t played together in years. And I always enjoy playing with Akill… Oh, wait…
