so.sophie – ‘Catch My Fall’

About so.sophie

so.sophie is a Canadian singer-songwriter who moved to Brazil in 2014, where she fell completely in love with the brazilian music culture and decided to pursue her lifelong love of singing. The thing that stood out for her the most with Brazilian culture is that anything goes, and everyone has music within them. You don’t need to be technically trained to be able to create music. Music does not discriminate. This inspired her to produce her music, even though her music does not fit any particular genre. It’s just music. She lets her lyrics come to her while singing, they are all channeled rather than written. This is part of her creative process. This track, Catch my Fall, is the 4th single that she’s released to date.
Aside from music, she works full time with forest restoration projects on Indigenous land in Northern Canada. She spends a lot of time in the silence of the forest, listening to the sounds of nature. In the silence is where she feels the most heard and free to sing.

Zoë Ferguson – ‘christine’

About Zoë Ferguson

Zoë Ferguson began writing songs as a freshman as a way to cope with high school experiences and breakups. Her father, musician/singer Bart Ferguson, is a familiar performer in the Portland music scene where Zoë grew up with music and songwriting in her blood. Teaching herself piano, Zoë self-recorded and uploaded some of her tunes to SoundCloud, which launched her journey as an original artist. After she was chosen to participate in Atlantic Records’ and APG, EMERGE program, Zoë continued to develop her unique voice, recording demos in a studio where her passion for performance and composition only grew. With the help of professional producers her sound came to life, and at age 17, her first single as an independent artist, “Dip”, proudly showcases her talents as a singer/songwriter in the bedroom/electro pop genre.

America Jayne – ‘Souvenirs’

About America Jayne

America Jayne is a Brooklyn based Alternative-Indie musician.America Jayne recorded four new singles with producer Ronnie DiSimone to be released in 2021. These songs show her growth as an artist as she narrows in on an indie-rock sound you can expect from her future work.

America Jayne (Erica) was raised in a small town in Connecticut, with more cows per square mile than people. To say there was little to do was an understatement. So, at age ten she started taking guitar lessons. Crawling to get out of the little town she had known her whole life, Erica decided she would take a big leap.

She packed her bags and moved into her first New York City apartment in January of 2018 with her two favorite things, Doc Martens and whiskey. She got hired as a server at the famous music venue, Rockwood Music Hall, in the Lower East Side. This is where everything changed, because it turns out, her new coworkers were a mix of musicians, actors, and creatives who wanted to have their voices heard as much as she did. Through the venue and nightly drinks at an after-hours bar next door, she garnered a group of friends who wanted to help her make music, thus, America Jayne was born.
