Lost Casual – ‘Sneak Out’

About Lost Casual

Sydney based multi-instrumentalist and producer Lost Casual shares his eclectic new pop single and official music video ‘Talk Too Much’ through MGM. ‘Talk Too Much’ is the follow up to his debut single ‘Energy’ and is the first single off his upcoming EP, ‘IF YOU’RE READING THIS’, which will be released later this year. Fans can catch Lost Casual live on August 19th at Mary’s Underground in Sydney CBD supporting Abby Bella May.

After a hectic end to 2021 Lost decided he needed a solo getaway for a week to focus on his next project. This ‘week away’ ended up turning into three weeks as the timing coincided with some of Australia’s worst flooding and he was trapped on a farm by himself with no cell reception or any way to contact the outside world. This was a blessing in disguise as it gave Lost ample time to write and record the start of his EP and present us with his next single ‘Talk Too Much’ (FYI food was supplied by the SES and surrounding neighbours through means of travel via canoe).

Loren Aronov – ‘Uncool’

About Loren Aronov

As a singer-songwriter growing up in Toronto, Loren Aronov had big dreams of becoming a pop star. She wrote and performed songs that portrayed a certain persona, more to please others than herself. Having just turned 14, she has decided to stop trying to live up to outside expectations and to instead be real with herself.

What she can promise listeners is genuine honesty from the heart and mind of a young girl living out her teenage years. “Uncool” is exactly that, inspired by feeling like the odd one out among her peers at school; lonely and even unwanted.

Quivers – ‘If Only’

About Quivers

Quivers, of Melbourne, Australia, have been an underground cathartic jangle pop band for long enough now to last year prick up the ears of Pitchfork, NPR and R.E.M., but it’s with a new 7” before their first US tour that they finally release the bats out of a cave and the secrets out of the bottle. Both songs see Bella Quinlan take lead vocals for the first time since the band’s full re-imagining of R.E.M.’s Out of Time (endorsed by the band themselves with fire emojis). Side A is a new original, ‘If Only’, and side B is a cover of Lucinda Williams’ mercurial ‘I Just Wanted To See You So Bad’.

Find The Others – ‘Underwater or Soon to Be’

About Find The Others

“Find the Others may take its name from a Timothy Leary reference, but the band’s new record isn’t tripped-out psychedelia. No, Empire of Time is lush and bright, like one of those amazingly clear nights where the sky is bottomless and dark, but also vibrant and alive with galaxies of stars. It’s the sound of getting lost in space, floating above the Earth, suspended and safe, buoyed by some kind of magic.” – CBC Music
