Olivia Castriota – ‘Leaving You (Stripped)’
About Olivia Castriota
Olivia Castriota decided to go all in on her dreams of being a musician just days after graduating college in her hometown of Pennsylvania. After selling the last of her gold jewelry at a local pawn shop, she packed her car with not much more than a dream and headed to New York City. After years of working tirelessly in the NYC scene, her obsessive drive to create music has made her a force to be reckoned with in the industry. It’s no surprise she’s gained the attention of major publications such as Rolling Stone, PopDust and Paste Magazine. Olivia Castriota transcends the limitations of singular genres, blending pop, soul and electronic music into a completely unique sound of her own. In her most recent release, “I Need a Minute,” which was produced by Grammy Nominated Sean Hamilton, the record evokes powerful emotion and the lyrics are incredibly personal and reflective as Olivia tackles the complexities of the heart. “Feelings are my favorite and I love, love,” said Olivia. Whether you’re in the mood for a cry your eyes out heartbreak song or a badass anthem, Olivia is just what you’ve been searching for.

EREZ – ‘Modern Dream’
About EREZ
EREZ began writing songs at just six years old, often penning dark and deep tracks far more mature than her numbered age. (One of the songs from her forthcoming album actually features a sample of one of her recordings when she was seven years old.) Anxious and unsure of her own voice, EREZ didn’t start singing until the age of 12 out of fear that her low, alto didn’t match other people’s expectations. Throughout the years she’d come to find it was her distinctly low and raspy voice that set her apart.
EREZ’s passion for music extended into the nightlife scene in both Tel Aviv and Los Angeles where she found herself dancing late into the night on a weekly basis and even trying her own hand at DJ-ing – something that influenced her desire to self-produce and engineer and has greatly influenced the music she now makes. “As a woman, I didn’t want to feel like I had to rely on anyone to get my records done. I feel like producing my own music has given me complete sonic freedom to execute my vision to the max of my ability in the moment I’m creating,” she explains. “The musical landscapes I carve out are unique and feel like me. I’ve been lucky enough to never have a voice in my head of ‘will they like it’ while creating. I only create what I love and enjoy listening to.”
It is EREZ’s unique voice– in both its sound and story– that sets her apart and will continue to pave the way for this rising act.

AE – ‘In Silence’
About AE
AE are Indonesian vocalist and producer Akila, and half-Bolivian, half-Danish vocalist and instrumentalist Elias. In our music, we like to explore the dualities we face as aliens in both our native countries and in our home Berlin. Struggles with sexuality, gender and post-colonialism are very real in both of our lives. In our songs, love often becomes a metaphor for broader aspects of our identities, such as womanhood, queerness, and being foreign. Music is our way of coming to terms with and embracing all sides of ourselves, and in the process of making it, we hope to provide a space of comfort for those who can relate with these themes.

Kashmere – ‘Someone’
About Kashmere
Since forming in the Stockport suburb of Poynton back in 2015, Kashmere have been straddling the fine line between effervescent synth pop and brooding indie rock, never straying too far either side, and carving out a niche in which they alone occupy.
Formed by Joey Newey (vocals/guitar) and Andy Law (drums) as well as Charlie Cole (lead guitar) and bassist Freddie Hughes, it was the band’s 2016 debut single ‘Blow Your Mind’ that catapulted the four-piece in to the limelight, ultimately paving the way for the success that followed.
Success that included a litany of well received releases, festival appearances and high profile support slots, not to mention a Chinese tour earlier this year in support of their infectious and, fittingly addictive recent single ‘Codeine’, a track which has found solid playlisting support in the form of The Indie List, Hot New Bands and New Music Friday, while also being featured in Fred Perry stores across the UK, a partnership which also saw the band open the brand’s Nite Tripper range at their flagship Manchester store.

andreas owens – ‘not much (better than before)’
About andreas owens
andreas owens is the solo project of Los Angeles-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Andres Owens, the lead vocalist of indie pop and R&B band The Millennial Club. Delicately blending intimate vocals with unabashedly ‘pop’ backbeats, the So-Cal native has been slowly but steadily building a catalogue of truly unique material. Embracing the ever-evolving notion of bedroom pop, everything is written, recorded, and produced in his (tiny) bedroom-turned-studio.
In his own words, “It’s the only way I’ve found it to feel authentically myself. The safe, familiar space is the catalyst for facilitating something visceral and unapologetically my own. It allows me to release my compulsive ‘perfectionist mindset’ and instead create with not only the ability to make mistakes, but the understanding that it’s inevitably the only part of the process that makes it my own.”
