Soheill – ‘Start All Over’

About Soheill

Through the sheer determination of his parent’s desire for freedom, SOHEILL was able to bring his passion for music from Iran to America at the age of seven. Before he could speak English, he was singing along to songs like “Yesterday” by The Beatles and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. He didn’t know what he was singing, but he could feel every word through the melody.

SOHEILL’S American influence and musical diversity inspires the way he writes today. He infuses his love of synths, bass, drums, and piano with organic lyrics, bringing to life stories in a song. Proclaiming his 2018 release, Somewhere Between Love & War, SOHEILL teamed up with Sam Kassirer (Producer and Keyboardist for Josh Ritter) to co-produce what he refers to as his Starry Night.

“What first drew me to Soheill’s music was an authentic sounding lyrical and sonic landscape that painted a real picture of what it’s like to be alone. Even in demo stage the songs proved to have an honest point of few from a specific time in his life. As we started working together his ability to paint this unique and personal picture proved to come across not just on the topic of being alone after a relationship, but being alone in a new city and being alone in a new country. The songs are passionate, intimate and energetic all at once.” –Sam Kassirer, Producer

In the later part of 2019, SOHEILL embarked on a sound and visual transformation of his music journey. The result of his new production is a blend of alternative/pop/rock with an 80’s twist.

Siv Disa – ‘Fear’

About Siv Disa

Siv Disa’s songs are pleas for honesty— from artist to self and from artist to audience. Originally a pianist, she combines elements of the classical world with the textures of modern electronic instruments to create a home for bare lyrical confessions. Drawing inspiration from an array of sources spanning from The Supremes to Shostakovich, she writes songs that have been described as both emotional and experimental in their composition, with a focus on sharp-tongued lyrics. At live shows, Siv enjoys performing with her backing band under the name “Siv Disa and the Sea Divers”.

In the fall of 2018 Siv released her debut EP Waltzes independently, along with three self-directed music videos. Her first single in partnership with Trapped Animal Records, ‘moths’, was release in November 2019.
