The accompanying visualizer created by one half of Seadog, Tom Chadd, adds more to the value, and for those who don’t have problem with the flashing images, is a must watch!

Sit back & enjoy this dazzling delight!

Press Notes:

‘Here Nor There’ is the new single from Brighton duo Seadog. Two and a half minutes of relentless patterns and mesmerising textures, the track was produced by Jack Wolter of Penelope Isles and features both Jack and sister Lily Wolter’s vocal harmonies. It is due for release on 1st April via Austerity Records.

Here Nor There’ follows the success of recent singles ‘Foolhardy’, ‘Old Joe’ and ‘Tidal Wave’ which received airtime on Amazing Radio and BBC 6 Music amongst others, earning generous feedback:

“Old Joe is a delight. A particularly touching song from what already feels like Seadog’s most accomplished work to date.” – Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins/Bella Union)

“Tidal Wave ticks all the boxes for me…but above all, it sounds like it’s flying and I have a soft spot for songs that sound like they are flying.” – Jason Lytle (Grandaddy)

“Really love Tidal Wave, lovely melody and the chorus lifts off so well.” – Matthew Caws (Nada Surf)

Upcoming gigs:

7th April – Café Les Deux Comptoirs, Clermont-Ferrand, France

9th April – Médiathèque Jack-Ralite, Clermont-Ferrand, France

Bio:

Seadog is the Brighton-based project of musician/songwriter Mark Benton and Tom Chadd along with their eclectic troupe of performers. They create dream-pop songs combining a variety of influences into a myriad sound of lullabies with anthemic electric and acoustic textures.

Seadog have been working on their forthcoming second album “Internal Noise” at Bella Union Studios, Brighton. Home recordings began deep in the 2020 lockdown and have been expanded upon in the studio with Jack Wolter of Penelope Isles on production duties. The album features Jack Wolter on drums, backing vocals and additional guitars, while sister Lily Wolter, also from Penelope Isles, guests on the record. The album is due to be released later this year on Austerity Records.
