The promising quartet from Herefordshire, UK, seems more than capable of combing its youth’s energy & enthusiasm with a highly eclectic sound mainly influenced from 80s gloomy post punk, 90s brit pop, and 00’s indie pop. Super catchy, highly energetic and “dark-ish”!

Alt-Indie outfit Pentire have just announced a brand new release with the arrival of ‘Fading Out’ due this April, a continuation of their previous acclaimed track ‘Best Friend’s House’.
Detailing a succinct, irreverent take on the trials and tribulations of growing up, the young Herefordshire quartet adorn brash and atmospheric sonics, coupled with introspective, wry lyricism. The perfect respite we all need right now.
They say: “It’s 9 o’clock, you’ve lost your friends, and your phone is dead. The mirror is telling you lies, and your adolescence is beginning to show. It’s a song that is very close to our hearts, Fading Out is an angst tale of losing control of your fragile consciousness and is a lyrical follow up to our previous release ‘Best Friend’s House’.”
Pentire are an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tell cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.
Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter Jack Morgan met his bandmates in the sleepy town of Ross-onWye. Having lived their school lives with a burning intention to break out and play shows, Pentire have grown from making a racket in their mum’s shed to selling out venues across the South West.
