Los Angeles, California-based “Starless,” as this is not the first time her voice has made waves. Many might recognize this emerging singer-songwriter’s voice from her real name. Brianna Knickerbocker first shined a light in the entertainment world as a well known Anime and Videogame voice actor, with popular projects like Demon Slayer, Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Re:Zero. Her talents were rewarded in 2015 with the Staff Choice Award & People’s Choice Award for Breakthrough Voice Actress of the Year, 4th Annual BTVA Anime Dub Awards. Now, Starless is set to release multiple singles along with lyric videos and visualizers throughout 2022, including her single, lyric video, and visualizer , “Mask,” due out 9/13, 9/20, and 9/27 respectively.
Starless reveals, “‘Mask’ is a high energy dubstep collab with Lex1ne and Starless about who you are versus the mask you show to the world. They played off the theme of super heroes for the analogy. The song is a villain singing to a superhero she’s into, and tempting him to the dark side.”
