We feel more than excited for tonight’s exclusive premiere on Last Day Deaf for 2 reasons: Firstly, it’s a thunderous, alternative rock treat and secondly it’s the band’s debut single, and we love helping bands at their first, baby steps.

But let’s leave aside our verbosity, and introduce you to the great, multinational, London-based quintet, Hello Amnesia, and their lead single ‘Cute Narcissist‘ from the upcoming debut EP ‘Retrograde‘. This one is an anti-love song, and it’s officially out out on Valentine’s Day, and what we admire most is its immense power, the ideal balance of modern alternative rock, with classic hard rock (just pay attention to the Rob Halford influence on the vocalist after 2.30 mark, won’t spoil the surprise). No trends, no hype, just volcanic rock energy, excellent performance, addictive solos and hopefully, unlike the band’s name, will be hard to forget about them!

Bio:

Hello Amnesia, hailed as the ‘United Nations of Rock’, with members from Turkey, Wales, Portugal, Italy and the North of England! An eclectic mix of raw sounds (think Hendrix meets the Foo Fighters) culminating in an exhilarating live show, sure to dominate big stages for years to come. Since their debut performance in May 2021 they have gigged non-stop and supported big names like Manchester’s ‘Proud Mary’ and York’s ‘King No-One’ in notable London venues including Bush Hall, Islington Assembly Hall and Camden Assembly (headline show). Now working in the studio to bring their ever-growing catalogue of original songs to a global audience, listeners can expect to see regularly released content from February 14th 2022!

Press Notes:

Cute Narcissist (Radio Edit), out February 14 on all platforms, is Hello Amnesia’s lead single off their debut EP! After gigging non-stop in 2021, the band finally managed to take a break, get into the recording studios and bring their first ever four track EP to life! Fans can expect to see regularly released music all the way through to summer 2022 where you’ll be sure to see these alt-rockers performing a variety of stages throughout the UK and Europe – a live show that is not to be missed!
