Press Release

This World Has Bees, a Portland based instrumental rock/post-rock band, is releasing its debut EP, ‘Nearer, on April 7th. The EP was recorded over the fall and winter at the Maine Music Mill in the Fort Andross building in Brunswick, Maine.

They are marking the occasion with a show at Empire on Congress Street in Portland on April 7, 2018. Joining them on the bill will be Wess Meets West, a highly respected instrumental rock band from Connecticut who recently signed to Hassle Records; Boston-based, international post-rock powerhouse Pray For Sound; and local duo Quad, who use only a cello and drums to create a new take on funk, rock, hip-hop and progressive music.

Nearer‘ will be available for digital download at https://thisworldhasbees.bandcamp.com. In addition, CDs and a very limited vinyl run pressed by Soniphone Records, will be available for purchase.
