Starting this Blues Boom round-up belongs to the born in McComb, and growing up in Meridian, Hattiesburg, and Greenville, but with Mississippi in his DNA, Afton Wolfe & his debut single ‘Dirty Girl‘ (debut full-length dropping in June!) about a road trip through Mississippi. Cary Hudson on bottleneck guitar and harmonica, Daniel Seymour on bass, Tommy Stangroom on drums, Seth Fox on saxophone, Ben Babylon on piano and keys, Blaise Hearn on trumpet, Joey Dykes on trombone. A raw blend of blues, americana & jazz noir vibes in this very first sample of an up-and-coming artist! 

Eric B Turner is a gospel-fuelled bright voice of the current Afro- American music scene. ‘Ain’t No Good‘ is a stunning gospel blues gem which emphasizes the idea of thinking first before making bad decisions; A pure lava of emotion!

Canadian artist Jesse Roper is back with an alternative blues rock sensation ‘Horizons‘, that was recorded in Brooklyn at Boiler Room Studios by Gus van Go (Sam Roberts Band, Whitehorse, Hollerado).

Blue Channel is an American rock power trio led by guitarist and vocalist Michael Gonzalez and ‘Wayback Blues‘ is a special blues rock/indie rock fusion that begins in an atmospheric way to finish off with a dynamic climax of guitar heaven! Unpredictable!

Last Planet is a funky blues rock band based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, and in their latest single ‘Jonesing‘ they collaborate with Matïas (guest vocals). The track is a powerful blend of funk, blues rock and modern alternative rock, that builds and caters to the duet back-and-forth feeling between the two vocalists. Play this one loud!

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest Daddy_the_Muse with his latest release ‘Cyclops‘, unleashes the fine lo-fi rock, acoustic blues rock amalgam we’ve heard in a while. For this track, the artist used his vocals, banjo, electric guitar, a resonator guitar with a slide, bass guitar, and my foot for percussion! Perfection obtained from purity….

Phil Gammage returns to Aldora Britain Records with ‘Walk In The Sun‘, his second solo release with us. The song is taken from his upcoming studio album which will be released later this year. A must listen for fans of John Lee Hooker, The Doors and Nick Cave.
