What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
We’ve been together a little over a year now. We all met in college and were originally inspired by a common drive and love of similar musics.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
–
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
Our influences are broad but some ones that we’ve drawn from recently are Leonard Cohen, Francesca Woodman and John Keats.
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?
I would like to think our sound is unique to us as 5 individuals creating music together. Dark and intense while also being tender and hopeful.
Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…
Tom Waits – Bone Machine
The Band – Music From Big Pink
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds – Skeleton Tree
Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?
Dont have a preference. Each have their place in the process of creating I think.
Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
–
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
Probably For Everything. Not sure why, every parent has a not-so-secret favourite I guess.
Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?
We will be going on a Uk and European tour in October and November.
Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
One question we always get asked.. well enough to remark on it atleast.. is whether or not its possible to get pregnant without intercourse.
And the answer is always the same: We’re just not sure yet.
