What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.

I’m basically a huge music lover without frontier thus a lot of different kind of music inspire me. Younger i played drums and guitar in several rock bands (Celtic, Gothic…). Even at this time i was very interested in electronic music.
After a 10 years hiatus where i needed to have a break with some bad habits i had while doing/playing music (drugs, alcohol, sleep privation), i came back with fresh ideas and create LutchamaK, an electronic music project with very stong techno influences but not only…

Provide us with some info about your latest release…

The last EP “Joy Inside” is a curious project, obviously due to the weird period of COVID-19 we’re living. i wanted something where there will be some good vibes within… “The Dream” is a way to approach what Alpha & Omega, The Disciples or Dubmatix brought me :
Some basses and a lot of positive vibes in an electro-dub mood… I begun to work on it a few months ago but left it behind until this EP 🙂

Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?

In music, as i said, it’s very, very eclectic so it’s difficult… Maybe Prince (before Batman ost), Trent Reznor, Big Boi, Kate Bush, Underground Resistance, Phantogram.

I don’t read as much as i want, i guess some heroic fantasy novels from Michael Moorcock and J. R. R. Tolkien. I also really like graphic art from H.R. Giger.

In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?

Maybe as a work in progress… It’s a mix between techno, house, EBM, 80’s pop…

Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…

Kate Bush ‎”The Dreaming”
Saul Williams “The Inevitable Rise And Liberation Of NiggyTardust”
Joy Division “Closer”
Earth Wind & Fire albums up to 1983
Dead Can Dance “Toward The Within”
Foals “Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost” part 1&2
Sly & Robbie Meet Dubmatix “Overdubbed”
Prince “1999” and a lot of 12″ from 1979 until 1989

I surely will begin the novels of George R.R. Martin and also read detective fictions from Fred Vargas.

Can i get the Netflix joker for movies and tv-shows ? 😉

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?

Both are great, really… I used to play live and i love feeling the energy flowing between the people. But it’s also nice to work @home, you can tinker with sounds for hours on nothing special that can turn into something. I think i’m more a studio guy.

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?

Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?

I guess i’m trying not to repeat myself, but maybe the most experimental track i made so far is “Dômu”.

Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?

I hope to release a lot and a lot more new tracks. With the lockdown, i take time to let me mixing for myself. If i can record a decent gig, i will share it on mixcloud or on my soundcloud.

Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
