What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.

I Heard Eazy-E’s Eazy Duz It tape in 05 I was ten and had found my uncles old tapes and it BLEW MY MIND! I hid that tape from my mom and listened to it that whole summer. Went back to the 5th grade that fall rapping Eazy-E lol I got in trouble but my teacher Mr. Gram said “you got a flow” and if I cleaned up my lyrics I could rap for the class I’ve been rapping ever since. I meet my mentor and label mate Pimp Wayne at 16 he had a studio and would let me and my friends come rap after school. After joining the group “Pimp City Playaz” we dropped 2 mixtapes ( Itz Hard Makin Easy Money & Getting Money And Hoez)

I put out my 1st solo mixtape “Itz Lonely At The Top” and really found my voice. Boogie Fontaine was born and its been up since.

Provide us with some info about your latest release…

An upbeat catchy sing along rap song with a island vibe. @PimpCityProductions sent me the beat and it caught my ear instantly. I made this at 3 in the morning after a long smoke session surrounded by friends who helped sing the “smoke smoke smoke” hook.

Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?

Musically Im definitely influenced by Eazy-E, Blade Icewood, and Lil Wayne. Doughboyz Cashout was a big influence here in Detroit as well.

None musically would have to be pro wrestling. I love the action, larger than life personalities, and crazy storylines. I even have a song call “Get Raw” a celebration of the industry.

In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?

My sound is uniquely developed from years of cultivating and finding my voice. It’s a cool laid back city boy style that you gotta hear to get the full experience .

Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…

Eazy-E Its On 187 um Killa
Blade Icewood – Blood, Sweat, And Tears

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?

Thats a good one. I enjoy the creative process of being in the studio but NOTHING beats seeing the crowds reaction live on stage.

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?

Ive been a stage tech and I would always give my music to the house DJs and out of all the shows ive worked on @dj.emosupremo was the only one that played my songs we’ve been friends ever since then.

Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?

I think “SMOKE” is my most unique song to date. When that bass hits and that first gong hits its magic! The silky smooth catchy hook is euphoric. People really like the vibe.

Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?

Im dropping the official video to “SMOKE” soon. Be on the lookout for Pimp Wayne “Like its our last” and future endeavors from the City Boy Music Group family.
