Another iconic figure bites the dust for 2016. This time, Alphonse Mouzon (Alphonze Mouzon) a jazz & fusion drummer who left us with a significant heritage. He was a founding member of jazz-fusion masters Weather Report, CEO of Tenacious Records and also played along with jazz & rock icons such as Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder. He died on 25th December and the cause was cardiac arrest according to his son.
