About Ozzy Chong
Ozzy Chong started out playing standup bass and touring the USA and Europe for rockabilly and swing bands. After years of touring, he decided to start The Kid Chocolate Band, releasing several EP’s and singles. Now Ozzy goes out on his own to perform Lofi Soul Indie music. His first single “I Don’t Want To Sound Too Down” is the first in a line of singles coming from Frumptone Records.

The Highateus – ‘Always Yesterday’
About The Highateus
Initially founded in 2004 with the nominal release of “Defeat the Purpose” (re-released in 2020), the genre-bending HighAteUs reformed in 2019 to release the ambitious “Zone of Silence” full length in 2020. Based on the reception of initial singles, critics were confused once they listened to the rest of the album and determined that this band wasn’t a one-trick pony. Stylistically, pigeonholing the project was impossible with the band proving themselves more than adept at playing Americana, Metal, Hip Hop, Country and R&B in their own tongue in cheek style. 2021 brings the band back in the studio with the even more ambitious FUXEDO as a follow up to the previous year’s releases. “What does the future hold for the HighAteUs” may not be the question to ask. A better question may be, “What future does the HighAteUs have in store for you?”

Martin Paul Cuthew – ‘Stand Tall’
About Martin Paul Cuthew
“With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.” The line from the poem Desiderata encapsulates the philosophy of South-East England based singer/ songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist Martin Paul Cuthew. Cathartic and introspective meditations on love, hope and longing are set against a backdrop of bold colours and warm, rich tones … a foundation of acoustic-rock vocal and guitar is enriched with lush synths and electronic rhythms to generate gutsy pop songs.
Martin played keyboards from an early age before moving onto guitar in his teens. He absorbed Pink Floyd, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead alongside electronic acts Orbital and The Prodigy. However, it was British rock band Oasis that first really inspired him to write songs and take music more seriously. Since then, Martin has been writing and recording music, further influenced by Coldplay, Muse, M83 and Biffy Clyro. He has performed all over South-East England – including The Cage Bar in Reigate, Kingston’s Ram Jam Club and Scratchers (Three Lions) in Farncombe – but it is appearances at the international Greenbelt Festival and at legendary London venues, the Half Moon Putney and Dublin Castle in Camden, that stand out.

PALLADIAN is an Italian duo based in Barcelona. Both had previous solo projects but only in 2019, they started a collaboration embarking on a new musical journey where they blend textures, loops, and samples creating a hybrid electronic genre. Despite their music doesn’t fall into a specific category they still manage to leave a recognizable mark in all their songs.
Having both a background in architecture, they tend to create their songs as if it is the creation of a building. From this approach, you should expect a solid rhythmic structure decorated with lots of colourful details: this analogy is the real foundation of this project.

Lissy Taylor – ‘Quite Rage’
About Lissy Taylor
Lissy Taylor is an emerging British artist with a distinct indie-pop sound. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Lissy moved to the USA in 2015 where she began experimenting with song-writing. Her earliest gigs and formative live musical experiences were spent playing in bars and restaurants across the States. Talking about her formative years in the USA Lissy said, “I regularly played in bars when I was living in America, I loved the atmosphere of it. For me, playing shows and writing songs has been a natural process of growing up, getting the adrenalin as each gig gradually got bigger. I think the start of anything is always the toughest and some gigs are better than others, its part of the craft. But for me the best gigs are when everyone falls quiet to listen to the songs and everyone is being in the same moment, its really powerful.”
Returning to the UK in 2017 to continue her studies at BIMM Manchester while continuing to perform with her band at music venue and festivals including Neverworld, Y Not and 110 Above and being the solo support for a UK Tour in October 2019.
Lissy graduated BIMM with a First class honours BA in Songwriting in 2020 and released of her debut single Mayday (Jan 20) which gained recognition from industry bloggers including a premiere with CLASH magazine. This was followed by her second single Wildflowers (April 20) which gained record of the week BBC Introducing Stoke and Amazing Radio track of the week. Her debut EP of the same name ‘Wildflowers’ was released October 2020. The lead track High gained plays on Absolute Radio by Skink Skunk Anansie, BBC Introducing Stoke, BBC introducing Shropshire and was track of the day for This Feeling. Hold Me Forever was played on BBC Introducing Stoke and Islington Radio by Paul Gallagher.
