Ugly Mothers’ HARDCORE PORNOGRAPHY delivers a punchy garage rock and alternative rock attack with an energetic, confrontational edge. The track leans into raw guitars and a driving rhythm, embracing the rougher side of rock rather than smoothing out its character. There is a restless quality to the performance that gives the song plenty of momentum, while its provocative title fits the band’s apparent taste for pushing things into uncomfortable territory. Ugly Mothers bring an unpolished intensity that keeps the track direct and immediate, with the arrangement built around impact rather than unnecessary ornamentation. As the lead single from the upcoming VOL. VIII EP, it sets an assertive tone, offering a blast of guitar driven energy with enough attitude to leave a mark. HARDCORE PORNOGRAPHY feels designed to hit hard, move fast and leave little room for restraint.
Dirty guitars, restless energy and absolutely no apologies.
