Still Life by Austin’s own Sundozer is the epitome of gritty, garage punk rebellion. Off the upcoming Death Bloom EP, this track is a raw testament to unfiltered expression. Recorded mostly in a sweat-drenched garage with drummer Stevie Trudell pounding out beats, and mixed in Elliott Frazier’s shed (yeah, that Ringo Deathstarr), This banger, -and presumably Death Bloom-, is a feverish love child of distortion and chaos. It’s a blistering, feedback-soaked ode to life’s inevitable cycle, born from the scorching Texas summer of ’23 and reborn amidst the wild blooms of ’24.
Sundozer’s relentless energy and raw passion ignite every note, making Still Life a primal scream for the ages.
