Copenhagen-based dark experimental project Skambidt, led by Lars Kivig, has recently revealed Urodefekt, a track from the upcoming album, Ætsende Sjæl (Corrosive Soul). The song features collaborations with Thomas Wydler (The Bad Seeds) and Kristof Hahn (Swans). Urodefekt takes listeners on a highly experimental journey into the subconscious, with heavily saturated vocals, an absorbing, almost menacing atmosphere, and an underlying message of a ritualistic experience. The track evokes a sense of dark, surreal intensity, reminiscent of Current 93 on an unsettling and disorienting trip.
