What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
I don’t exactly remember the moment I discovered music for the first time, but I do recall as a child, the vivid feeling of listening to music and singing songs with my mother (also a musician). It immediately felt amazing. I soon started to compose songs with a keyboard and with my flute. I think now I couldn’t live without this feeling anymore, the feeling of freedom, creativity that composition gives us. I feel like it is a duty, a way to share love and convey messages about coexistence, self-love, critical sense.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
I have just released my first music video Golden Kingdom about burnout. Thanks to a music contest that I won last summer, this was made possible.
At the end of January, one brand new track will come out, followed by another one at the end of February. I am truly passionate and there are many more tracks to come.
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
As my music is very eclectic, I am soothed by multiple influences and genres. I would say I owe a big thank you to Joe Hisaichi for his incredible poetry in his compositions, Agnes Obel, Florian Christl, Florence and the Machine, Amelia Warner, Thomas Newman and a thousand more…
Regarding non-music-wise my main influences are and were people who dared. Who dared try things when everything and everyone was against them. They knew they had to share what they had in their hearts and mind. And above all, they were ready to die for their art.
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?
I would say that I genuinely love people and I think that it could be found in my songs. The hope for a better world, a beautiful coexistence between human beings and critical thinking. Those are the kind of message I try to convey. I have always found words important, so I guess it’s a combination of lyrics, melodic music with harmony and a warm energy. If this can make you feel better for even a second, you should definitely listen to one of my tracks as it is my sheer intention.
Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…
I would take albums from Florian Christl with no doubt. I keep listening to his music, feeling goosebumps all over, he’s a brilliant composer. For the book it would probably be 1984 by George Orwell I know it’s a classic but it remains dreadfully accurate and for the film maybe the Horse Whisperer or Geisha as I am in love with both the story and the original soundtrack.

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?
Those are two very distinct things I really enjoy studio as it’s a way to record something properly to share to the world but on the other hand performing live is the way to make your music live. You are with people; you can actually share something with them beautiful things happen on stage and this is the true magic of it all.
Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
One day I walked into a bar, and I overheard a lady talking to another friend of hers pointing at me and saying ‘Oh I know this woman over there it’s Lung’s poetry! I have listened to her songs I love them!’. I looked at her and we both laughed, I was so very touched, it was the first time I was being recognised for my music.
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
Golden Kingdom can be one of those tracks as it represents a part of myself. I am someone deeply passionate, music, learning languages and practicing Kung Fu and this song is quite eclectic. It is a mix of hip-hop, classical music and pop. I like the fact of creating something of my own and not just one genre.
Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?
To be honest I’m really excited because many things are ahead for 2023. I’m very soon going to record 4 tracks that will be released at the beginning of the year and at the end of next year I really hope to be able to record a full album with 12 tracks and also, I would love to make another music video as it is great way to convey messages differently to those who don’t really read or listen to the lyrics. And obviously performing on stage more and more! I have discovered a beautiful new world and I can’t wait to carry on! Plenty of things are coming so stay tuned!
Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
What are you the most proud of?
I am proud of daring. Daring try to share my music to the rest of the world and to trust myself enough to let it all out. I am also sincerely pleased to hold onto my values and try to share them, without having to sell my soul for a potential success that would probably fade in a heartbeat. Remaining upright and determined makes me genuinely strong and happy.
