Le BAHO is the work of Bastien Horisberger. Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, he was always fascinated by the musical environments that surrounded him growing up. Through this medium, he started to hone his craft on many instruments, he is now an artist, songwriter and producer with the unique and pleasurable multi-faceted approach of overseeing every aspect of the recording process.

Having gained a lot of attention as an established singer-songwriter, some of you may know AUGUST as the Creative Director and Founder of Bristol based vocal collective ‘Bass Choir’.
In October 2021 ever-evolving alternative soulstress AUGUST brought us closer to home through her project ‘Got Those Strings’ alongside a sell out gig at the Exchange. A lyrically potent and electronically fragmented body of work, AUGUST has personally expressed her debut EP ‘Got Those Strings’ to be a direct commentary on “non-conformity and a refusal to accept the boundaries and stereotypes that are inflicted upon us daily”.
Featuring production from The 7 Arrows (aka Typesun), the 4-track EP is preceded by lead singles ‘Got Those Strings’, ‘You Raise Me’ and ‘No Release’, which garnered immediate attention from BBC Music Introducing (‘No Release’ was selected as the ear worm of the week), with radio support from Worldwide FM, BCFM, Amazing Radio UK and US – including interest from credible collaborators. ‘You Raise Me’ was given a spin on Reprezent radio in collaboration with Pirate.com; picked as number 1 in their top 5 tracks globally.
A futuristic yet intelligent minimalistic soul-leaning ode, integrating melodic bass undertones.
AUGUST focuses her awe-inspiring vocal talents on a prominent use of thick atmospheric harmonies laced with haunting Soul R’n’B lead vocals, funnelling buckets of sparseness and unexpected musicality into the ears of the listener. A sound described as “…futuristic alternative soul with a dark yet emotive quality, infused with the experimental”
Four track recordings have been written, produced and performed by AUGUST with production from Eusebeia. The next chapter will see the forthcoming lead single ‘Empty Languages’ – off the upcoming EP, set for release on August 5th.

About Anna Leyla
The 25-year old singer and songwriter Anna Leyla originally made herself a name due to her appearance in the TV show „The Voice Of Germany“ in 2019. Before, Anna was a singer in a local pop band in her hometown Augsburg/ Germany, where she got used to doing many live shows throughout southern Germany. The singer was named a possible winner of the singing contest on TV, but left the show early.
