Club Soccer – ‘Wishing We Could Be in Love’

About Club Soccer

Club Soccer is the matching of Argentinian Nico Brunstein and Brazilian born, Nando Dale. Both students at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, the two have found a common passion for putting indie rock, dream pop and jazz into a psychedelic smoothie that will refresh you on a sunny day.

Club Soccer is also a means of Nico and Nando to express their production skills as they adhere to a strict self-producing ethos. Emphasizing production quality as much as they value their songwriting, the duo strives to keep pushing themselves to experiment with different techniques, inspired by the late 60’s creative freedom.

Consisting of Nando on vocals and guitar and Nico on bass the duo inspired by both their parents music taste (The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Os Mutantes) and their current affections (O Terno, King Krule, The Marias, Natalia Lafourcade), you may find them playing soccer at Washington Square Park or dancing their asses off to disco.

OCTAVIO The Dweeb – ‘Slow Drag’

About OCTAVIO The Dweeb

In high school, Octavio got a fresh start when his family relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee. He found himself doodling a lot and signed every piece of art with the signature ‘dweeb.’ When he first picked up his dad’s old guitar and started making his own music, it was fated that ‘dweeb’ would become a part of his identity. “Suddenly I felt like I knew who I was. I look at myself now and I think… look at that dweeb go!”

When Octavio dropped his first single on Soundcloud things quickly changed for the young act. Now with more than 330K monthly listeners on Spotify and a rapidly growing fanbase of dweebs joining the movement, OCTAVIO The Dweeb is set to become a household name in the years to come. With a recent add to Alt Nation’s Critical Cut for his recently released “Someday I’ll Be Happy,” the burgeoning act is on the rise.

M.E. Netzke – ‘If I Ever Disappear’ (Feat. Jon Anderson)

About M.E. Netzke

How does one survive a near-death experience? Once you’re past it, you don’t exactly get to decide how you feel about it or what it does to you. You can brush it off and call it a lucky break, or you can allow it to galvanize what it is you ought to do with the time left. The latter proved to be the road taken by the autumnal M.E. Netzke (Ehm-EE Net-skEE). After reconditioning himself from a haphazardous jaunt to the ER for carbon monoxide poisoning, he abandoned various musical genre pursuits to hone in on something both charming and wistful. The result was 2019’s EP, Volume One: Geranium.

Skyko – ‘Time of our Lives’

About Skyko

Skyko spends his days writing & recording mainly synth based music, but don’t let that fool ya, he’s also a decent guitarist, drummer & singer – as well as being an indecent violin/viola-playing wildman. He loves to eat and drink too much and although a Southern Californian resident, most of his beach going experiences are done while sitting in his studio in front of a computer screen.

Sky was born in a hospital. Finding this antiseptic, he soon left the confines of the infant’s ward, traveled across town to live with his parents in a house. After realizing a normal, subservient life was out of the question, Sky moved West to Los Angeles where he now lives with his Brazilian wife and four palm trees… again, in a house. Skyko and Lucy Macedo operate their own indie record label Six Sense Records in the once majestic and luxurious suburb of Los Angeles – Woodland Hills, CA
