The latest album ‘A Deeper Understanding‘ from Philly band The War On Drugs, is among the best of 2017. What they managed to do is create pure, straight-to-the-heart music, ideal for long road trips, far away from the urban environment and the “city sickness”. Futhermore, what is so unique of this album, is the continuous feeling of escapade, not to another planet, but somewhere where nature and sun still shines, and is still visible. No concrete allowed.
