Noah Issa – ‘Liquify’

About Noah Issa

After gaining some recognition from his first release “New Stylie” , which was featured on BBC 1XTRA Diplo & Friends, Jamaican artist/producer Noah Issa has continued to deliver his own unique blend of reggae, dancehall, hip hop and electronic music. ”New Stylie”, a fusion of dancehall, dub, trap and experimental EDM that perpetually reinvents and re-styles itself ahead of an ethereal, dream-like climax, pushes the limits of creative sound design and rhythmical complexity. Noah’s following release “Broken Wings” was the first track to feature Noah’s vocals and showed us a more ethereal and experimental side of his artistry. The song has a transcendental feel, with psychedelic textures combined with sounds of the trombone and bass guitar, creating a form of alternative dub/reggae. “No Long Talking” was Noah’s next release and this song combines the lush synth textures of tropical house with the Dembow rhythms of dancehall. Noah delivers a soothing vocal performance which gently floats on top of the track, leading into a hypnotic vocal chop hook section. “Rude Awakening” is Noah’s latest work and is an exciting fusion of reggae and electronic music. Blending together elements of reggae, ska, and tropical house, “Rude Awakening” marries the organic sounds and conscious lyrics of reggae to the euphoric energy of electronic dance music.

4ever lost – ‘Careless’

About 4ever lost

4ever lost is a musical group whose precise geographical origin and human identity are still unknown. Playing on mystery and anonymity, these artists have decided to embody surprising characters with an omniscient point of view. The core of the group is formed in 2020 when the founder SIX gathers several musicians. From 2021, the quartet takes its final configuration, composed of SIX the singer, HERO the guitarist and bassist, ONI the keyboardist and ABI the drummer and percussionist.

Accompanied by Groover Obsession and supported by several media such as FIP, Modzik or even internationally, Earmilk and Brain Magazine, the quartet has been able to show the evolution of its universe and intrigue its audience for the future. On stage and in their videos, the artists wear beautiful brightly colored cross-dressing designed by the singer SIX and the designer @Arganthaëlle. Like their artistic and visual identity, which is elegant and refined, they have chosen to hide their faces under hoods with a protective symbolism. Through their songs, they wish to carry the messages of those who no longer have the voice or the power to put words to their feelings. One can thus discover the meticulousness, the passion of the detail, the elegance and the symbolism in the clips & cinematographic achievements which accompany the musics of 4ever lost. This artistic direction allows them to propose several readings and interpretations. Their musical style is very varied and evolving, but it still has its roots in alternative RNB, POP and ROCK. Having difficulty to identify clearly among the current musical styles, they appreciate to qualify their music as “Eclectic POP”.

HART – ‘They Say’

About HART

Calgary, Alberta’s Keston Ross makes music that delves deeply into the soul…from the soul. He is HART. With heartstring-tugging melodies, soulful grooves and introspective lyrics that don’t shy away from expressing vulnerabilities, HART’s music is a true gift to modern-day R&B. Detailing life experiences and relationships through song, heartbreak is often the focal point of his lyrics.

“Looking at the relationships I had my heart broken from or had to break a heart for, gave me my motivation to write songs,” HART says of his chosen moniker, “It was my way of learning from my lows and remembering the highs. I picked up the pieces of my heart and put it back together without spelling it correctly so that I won’t ever forget the lessons from my past.”

Born of Trinidadian, Scottish and Polish descent, HART grew up with varied and eclectic musical influences. His father, Clearance Ross (known as CAT), was a soca percussionist for the band, Charlie’s Roots in his native Trinidad & Tobago. He played a huge role in developing his son’s musicality.

“My dad was a massive influence on my interest in singing rhythm and music in general,” says HART, “He has always supported me with my music and I intend on keeping the musical flame lit within our family roots. He gave me the desire for rhythm, soul and expansive creativity with my voice, due to his love and background with music. This has allowed my sound and my artistry to remain versatile, in order to authentically capture my own emotions within my music.”

HART creates his music under the self-owned imprint, Lovesick Music. Referring to his growing legion of fans as the Lovesick Squad.

HART’s forthcoming project entitled, Lovesick Diaries Vol.1 promises to pick up where “They Say” left off. Heartbreak, commitment and desire all paint the soulful rhythms heard throughout the project. It is expected to drop by the end of 2023.
